From day one, sustainability has been a Fourlaps priority.
The majority of the fabrics and materials we use in our products has always been recyclable, biodegradable, or both.
Our goal is to use 100% sustainable materials by 2024, and we’re well on our way!

“I try to live simply and minimize consumption. I take my lunch to work in reusable containers, recycle (of course), and do a lot of things many of us are doing to help the environment. When we started the company in 2016, we were really excited about the products and the materials. But then, when I started to learn how they were made, I became concerned. Almost all of our products are made with polyester – a very common fabric for athletic gear. I started doing research and found that, while sustainable materials were more expensive, we could easily convert our fabrics to be more sustainable, without raising prices for our customers. I knew it was the right move, for the environment, and for our company. I want us to be 100% sustainable by 2024, and we’re well over halfway there.”
